Anika Noi Rose, an American actress and performer, is known for her character in the film The Princess and the Frog. She is most famous for her role as Tiana, the Princess and the Frog's African-American Princess. In 2011, she was recognized as an official Disney Legend. Rose played Lorrell Robinson, her character in the Academy Award winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Noni (born on September 6 7th, 1972) is a famous singer as well as an American actor. Most famous for her voice as the voice for Tiana as Tiana in The Princess and the Frog, the first African American Disney princess. She was designated a Disney Legend in 2011. Her most well-known roles include roles as Lorrell in Dreamgirls, an Academy Award winning film (2006) as well as LaVerne in Starz's Power.
